The City of Guelph is seeking input from local businesses to better understand potential tariff impacts by the United States. Feedback collected through this 2-3-minute survey will help us:
✔ Advocate for policies that support local businesses
✔ Explore relevant resources and potential assistance options
✔ Identify key challenges and opportunities for local businesses
Individual business information collected will not be shared publicly. Aggregated data may be published and shared with policy makers, partners, and elected officials to help shape our advocacy and programming efforts.
Notice of collection
Participation in this survey is voluntary. Information provided is collected under the authority of the Municipal Act, 2001, and in accordance with the provisions of the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA).
Personal information, as defined by section 2 of MFIPPA, does not include the name and contact information of an individual acting in a business capacity, even if an individual carries out business from their dwelling and the contact information for the individual relates to that dwelling.
The City of Guelph is subject to the access provisions of MFIPPA and may be required to disclose survey information, including business contact information, if it is requested through the Freedom of Information process.
